I lead the HLA team in the East and Southern Africa region. We are focused on making positive impact on the humanitarian and development response and building the capacity of individuals and organisations to effectively address humanitarian and development challenges.
I hold a Master’s degree in Communication for Development and Bachelor’s degree in Education. I’ve worked in the development, humanitarian, public and private sectors for over 20 years.
One thing to know
I hold leadership responsibilities in my social and church life, which help me contribute to local social actions and community welfare – areas I am passionate about. I love having a good laugh with good people over good food.
My hobbies evolve quickly, so it is hard to pick a few. I also enjoy trying out new things. Recently I started cycling. But I don’t swim, and you will find me paddling on shallow end of any swimming pool.
