Experience
I am a civil and environmental engineer, and, a Fulbright scholar, and have 20+ experience within the development and humanitarian scope, working before with Plan Intentional, Oxfam and the government of El Salvador. I have led many responses in Central America, as well as managed DRR, resilience and humanitarian advocacy programs, lately as humanitarian capacity building advisor with Save the Children.
I am excited about facilitating knowledge, connecting experienced humanitarians with new generations and, also, I am a firm believer of networking as a strategy for strengthening local actors. Starting the Latin America & Caribbean HLA regional center is a satisfying task as we are presenting a solution to support capacity gaps in the region.
One thing to know
I do yoga every morning; it is a practice that helps me physically and mentally.
My favourite learning resource
I am a podcast addict, and loving HLA’s podcasts
