Experience
As Director of the HLA, I provide direct leadership to the HLA, the SCUK Humanitarian Department and to the wider SC movement. My role leads on setting the vision and strategic direction of the HLA and will continue to develop the HLA’s profile as a global leader in the development & evolution of humanitarian capacity strengthening, sharing & learning across the SC movement and the wider humanitarian sector. I am also a qualified coach and spend some of my spare time coaching & mentoring individuals and teams both inside and outside of the sector.
One thing to know
I enjoy running as a way to get much needed time out and managed to successfully complete the London Marathon in 2018 (a feat never to be repeated!)

My favourite learning resource is other people – from the diverse network of people we connect with at the HLA. Learning from and speaking with them to inform myself and our strategic direction with what is needed and how the HLA can best support.
