Could you introduce yourself and tell us a little about your work?
I’m Mohamed and I’m from Mali. I am based in Sévaré, Mopti.
I have been involved in humanitarian work for six years and currently I am working as an Emergency Programme Manager at Oxfam GB.
How did you first hear about Kaya and what’s your favourite course?
I first heard about Kaya through LinkedIn and I’ve completed seven courses.
My favourite course is Humanitarian Operations Programme (HOP) Fundamentals because in the future I would like to be an operations manager. This training will make it easier for me to acquire knowledge in this area.
Has learning on Kaya changed your outlook or approach to humanitarian work?
Yes, I’ve observed that through my learning I have gained a 360 degree vision in humanitarian action. My learning has covered a breadth of topics including security, programmatic areas, logistics and finance.
Have you earned any badges on HPass? If so, which one are you most proud of?
Yes I’ve earned badges on HPass – the ones I am most proud of are for HOP Fundamentals.
