In this webinar in our Skill Up Series, hear expert insights on crafting effective proposals to help turn your ideas into funded humanitarian initiatives.

Poppy Hankir: Head of Business Development, HLA
Poppy Hankir has thirteen years’ experience in business development, programme management and supporting humanitarian operations. Her experience covers a range of humanitarian sectors in complex settings, including leading on donor management and awards compliance in Ukraine, Lebanon, Jordan, oPt, Somalia, and Sierra Leone.
Poppy has written winning proposals for institutional donors including: USAID/BHA, FCDO, ECHO, EU, UNICEF, UN pooled funds and GMZ. Poppy has also secured funding from several corporations and private trusts and foundations including Microsoft, Vitol Foundation, Google.org and Salesforce.
Jen Wilkins: Fundraising Lead, HLA
Jen Wilkins is a dedicated non-profit professional who has broad fundraising experience spanning grant writing, partnership development, campaigns, and events. Inspired by her first volunteer experience as a befriender through Age UK ten years ago, Jen is passionate about supporting others through her work. Jen has held professional, volunteer and board member roles with non-profits in the UK and US, including at Diabetes UK and Cancer Research UK, and her current role as Fundraising Lead for the Humanitarian Leadership Academy within Save the Children UK.
